Unwilling to depart from the party establishment's culture of conformity, the DNC has continued within that legacy throughout this past year. Making public an official autopsy might have shown whether party leaders actually want to foster open debate regarding the errors that enabled the former president to win re-election. Yet, the leadership is moving forward as if there's nothing to be learned from the stunning loss of 2024.
"Here’s our North Star: is this good for winning elections? Should the answer be negative, it is an unnecessary diversion from what truly matters," a justification which was presented to justify concealing the report.

- Eroding Young Voter Support: Extensive evidence indicates a huge decrease of Democratic support from young voters.
A Pattern Shunning Scrutiny
Choosing secrecy is consistent with a recurring tendency of sidestepping difficult realities. It echoes a situation where nearly all elected Democrat in Congress went along with an incumbent's decision for running for re-election until a poor public debate performance led to a change.
